Aged Care and Disability

About this industry

Make a positive difference to the lives of people needing care, including those living with a disability, to live as independently as possible. In this industry, you might help people to move around, or wash and dress, prepare meals, support social activities, and encourage personal growth and independence. To work in aged care and disability, you'll need strong communication skills, patience and compassion. South Australia's health and medical industry is huge, employing over 160,000 people and growing fast.
