7. Your Content

Student users

To utilise the CV Builder and World of Work (WOW) Challenge features, you are required to create a user account using your email and a passwords of minimum 8 characters. These features require you to enter content about your activities and experiences. If you are under 18 years of age, it is recommended you seek parent/guardian advice before proceeding.

“Your content” means any text, files or URLs that you choose to enter and display within your account on this website. With respect to your content, by entering and displaying it, you grant the Government of South Australia permission to:

  • store this information on the Australian-based server of Squiz (Australia), a third-party supplier contracted to the department to deliver website hosting and management services
  • use this information to create an account in your name
  • use this information to generate an online CV, which you can export to Word on a computer or device
  • use this information to display an online record of your World of Work (WOW) Challenge activities, which you can export in PDF format to a computer or device
  • use this information to generate a World of Work (WOW) Challenge certificate, should you complete 50 or 100 hours, which you can download to a computer or device

in accordance with the Privacy Policy . Your content must be your own and must not infringe on any third party’s rights.

Business entity users

Business entities (including but not limited to, employers, organisations, industry associations, group training organisations, registered training providers) can use this site to promote their careers-focused opportunities to students, including school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, work experience, and other career activities including but not limited to careers expos, industry days, career videos, webinars, etc.

To do this, you enter your content into a form on this website. “Your content” means any text, URLs or contact information that you choose to enter for public display on this website. By entering your content, you grant the Government of South Australia permission to:

  • store this information on the Australian-based server of Squiz (Australia), a third-party supplier contracted to the department to deliver website hosting and management services
  • use this information to generate and display an online “post” for students and educators

in accordance with the Privacy Policy. In posting your content, you must be an authorised representative of the business entity. Your content must be your own and not infringe on any third party’s rights. Your content must be a genuine opportunity. You acknowledge that this website is accessible to the general public.

Staff from the Government of South Australia Department for Education review each opportunity before it is posted and reserve the right to discuss the details with you prior to agreeing to publish it, or not.

Apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities must be school-based and align with the identified careers in demand as per the information published about the Flexible Industry Pathways.

8. World of Work (WOW) Challenge Certificate

Users who take part in the WOW Challenge and subsequently record 50 or 100 hours of entries are entitled to receive a certificate of achievement. For this certificate to be valid, students must present their record of WOW Challenge activities and their certificate to their teacher, who will check the hours and then sign and date the certificate.
