Conservation and Land Management

Work may include identifying plants, collecting seeds, pest control, fire management, and ecological restoration. You will need to enjoy working outdoors, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoying working both in a team and by yourself.

  • AHC30318 Certificate III in Rural and Environmental Pest Management
  • AHC31421 Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
  • AHC31522 Certificate III in On Country Management
OR

Off-the-job training:

Start VET study at school through off-the-job training in:

  • AHC20422 Certificate II in Horticulture

Industry specific requirements, including:

  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Customised SACE subjects
Pastoral care – mentoring and monitoring
