About the role:

Our valued Host Employer, Specialised Solutions based at Tonsley, are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic First Year Fabrication Apprentice to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in metal fabrication while gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and equipment including grinders, oxy/acetylene, hand tools, waterjet cutter, guillotine, brake press, turret punch, and a 3D tube laser. You’ll be trained in essential fabrication tasks such as marking out, drilling, cutting, grinding, bending, and welding, while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive and innovative environment. If you're passionate about learning, committed to safety, and ready to start your journey in the engineering and fabrication trade, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is location in Tonsley working Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm with an early finish at 12pm on Fridays!

Duration: 4 year fully paid apprenticeship with PPE provided and post apprenticeship opportunities

To succeed as a Heavy Fabrication/Boilermaker Apprentice, you will need good work ethic, with attention to detail and the ability to solve problems. Other requirements are:

Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia

Minimum completion of Year 10 High School

Driver’s License preferred

Excellent attention to detail

Confidence with numeracy and literacy
