Our Direct Care Worker Cadetship Program is a unique opportunity for people who are passionate about supporting their community and building a meaningful career in aged care. Through this program, you'll gain real, paid on-the-job experience while being fully supported to complete a CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support.  You'll learn alongside experienced professionals, develop practical skills from day one, and grow your confidence as you make a positive impact in the lives of older people.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Should you be offered a position on our program, you will study CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing through an approved Registered Training Organisation selected by us.  We will offer flexible learning options to ensure that you can achieve your study goals, with additional support provided through the training provider and one of our Educators.  You will be fully supported to learn on the job with a team of health care staff to assist you to settle in and provide you guidance as you learn.

Your working arrangements will consist of 4 days at work, with one working day every fortnight that will be specifically allocated for study and completing workplace assessments.  Your usual workdays will also be dedicated to practical on-the-job learning within the workplace.
