What you'll do
- The ability to start your trade career whilst at school
- A variety of employer partners across the state to suit every prospective apprentice
- A flexible apprenticeship that can accommodate your schooling and kickstart your career
- Setting up and installing new air conditioning and refrigeration systems, involving assembling components, such as compressors, motors, and pipes, and ensuring they are correctly connected and secured.
- erforming routine checks and maintenance on existing systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely, such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring all parts are in good working condition.
- Diagnosing and fixing problems with air conditioning and refrigeration systems, ranging from minor adjustments and part replacements to more complex repairs involving electrical systems and refrigerant handling.
- Designing systems for new installations or modifying existing systems to improve efficiency or capacity.
What you'll need
- Current Drivers Licence (P's) or progressing towards your P's
- A reliable vehicle
- White Card
Qualification: UEE32220 Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
