South Pacific Seeds are offering an opportunity to build a long-term career in the agricultural industry while completing formal training for a Certificate III in Agriculture.
This traineeship is a 36-month training contract, providing hands-on experience and structured learning based in Naracoorte.
You must be: Flexible and willing to learn, have a hands on approach to learning and will require problem solving and teamwork skills.
Through the Certificate III in Agriculture Traineeship, candidates will gain practical experience while covering key industry topics, including:
• Welding and workshop tools
• Machinery maintenance
• Chainsaw operations
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces
• Mobile plant operation (front-end loaders, skid steers, backhoe loaders, excavators, and telehandlers)
• Chemical accreditation
• Crop agronomy (pest, disease, and weed control)
• Livestock feeding plans
