Thoroughbred Racing

Set your career on a fast-track to working with horses. Daily activities may include feeding, grooming, and exercising horses, or keeping reports on progress and performance. You will need to love working with horses, enjoy being outdoors, and be able to work independently and in a team. You may also need a high level of riding skills to exercise horses.

Start VET study at school through off-the-job training in:

  • RGR20221 Certificate II in Racing Industry
  • Advanced Thoroughbred Racing
  • Trackwork Rider
